This policy applies to loanlablending.com and to the personal information you give us when you inquire about or apply for a mortgage. Because we are a financial institution, our handling of your information is also governed by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and Regulation P. If you become an applicant, you will receive a separate GLBA privacy notice at application, and that notice governs the information you provide in connection with your loan.
Information you give us. Name, email, phone number, city or ZIP, the goal you select on our forms, and anything else you choose to tell us. If you begin an application, our application provider collects the financial information required for a mortgage application, including income, assets, employment and Social Security number.
Information collected automatically. Pages viewed, referring page, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type. We use this to understand which pages are useful and where people get stuck.
What we do not collect on this website. We do not ask for your Social Security number, account numbers, or date of birth on this site. Those are collected only inside the secure application, which is hosted by our application provider.
To respond to your inquiry; to route you to a licensed mortgage broker; to prepare and process a loan application if you choose to make one; to comply with lending, licensing, anti-money-laundering and recordkeeping laws; to detect fraud and abuse; and to improve the site.
We share your information with our own licensed loan officers and staff; with service providers who act on our behalf under contract, including our application platform, hosting and analytics providers; with investors, underwriters, credit bureaus, appraisers, title companies and settlement agents when necessary to process a loan you have applied for; and with regulators or others when required by law or legal process.
Affiliates. Loan Lab Lending shares common ownership with Sprout Realty. If we refer you to an affiliated real estate brokerage, you will receive a written Affiliated Business Arrangement disclosure at the time of referral. You are never required to use an affiliated company as a condition of any loan.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not resell your inquiry to multiple lenders or to lead aggregators.
If you check the consent box on a form, you are agreeing that we may contact you by phone, text message or email about your inquiry. Consent is not a condition of obtaining any loan. Message and data rates may apply. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or contacting us directly.
The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act gives Texas residents the right to confirm whether we process their personal data, to access it, to correct inaccuracies, to request deletion, to obtain a portable copy, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling. To exercise any of these, email us or call the number below. We will verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the time the statute allows. If we deny a request you may appeal by replying to our decision.
Note that some information must be retained regardless of a deletion request, because lending, anti-money-laundering and recordkeeping laws require it.
We use a small number of cookies to keep the site working and to measure traffic in aggregate. You can block cookies in your browser; the site will still function. We do not use advertising cookies to build profiles of you across other websites.
The site is served over HTTPS and application data is handled inside our provider’s secure platform. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we restrict access to your information to people who need it to do their job. We keep information for as long as needed for the purpose collected and for the periods required by lending and recordkeeping law.
This site is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
